BC PNP Points Calculator (SIRS)

The Skills Immigration Registration System scores you out of 200. B.C. publishes no pass mark — candidates sit in a pool and are invited from the top, so what matters is how your score compares to others at the time of a draw.

Work experience

Experience directly related to the occupation in your B.C. job offer.

Worth 10 points, and only counts if you were authorised to work here at the time.

Same NOC code and same employer as the registration. Worth 10 points.

Education

Only the highest credential listed earns these points.

Worth 5 points.

Language

Worth 10 points. Both tests must be within the past two years.

The job offer

Wage is the single largest factor in the grid, worth up to 55 points.

One point per dollar from $16.00, reaching the maximum 55 at $70.00. Cents do not change the band.

Scoring factors are not the same as eligibility criteria. A score here does not mean you qualify — you must separately meet every requirement of the programme. This is not immigration advice.
